So I spent most of my Sunday at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. I love the outdoors-iness and the fact that everyone has their dogs [dressed up]. I did a little bit of shopping, but mostly just enjoyed the holiday atmosphere with my honey. Here are the pictures my amazing boyfriend snapped for me:
So I decided to make this absolutely deliciously amazing pumpkin spice white hot chocolate yesterday. There were a handful of ingredients (spices), but it was ridiculously easy and fast! I seriously suggest you try this out and share it with your friends because it's too good not to share!
I added Cookie Butter to the rim of the cup because I freaken love that stuff!
4 cups whole milk 10 ounces white chocolate, chopped 4 teaspoons cocoa powder 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup pure pumpkin puree 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon cardamom Dash of allspice Dash of ground ginger
Start by pouring 2 cups of milk, the 10 ounces of white chocolate and cocoa powder into a pot. Bring it over medium heat and mix it so that the white chocolate melts and everything blends in smoothly. In a separate bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, vanilla, and all the spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, allspice, ginger). Bring that mixture over to the mix you have over the fire and pour everything in. Mix again and pour in the remainder 2 cups of milk until you get the desired consistency (I prefer all 2 cups or more so it's not too rich).
Wahla!!!! It's all done! Super quick and easy..and the absolute perfect holiday drink.
Hey guys! So I've been pretty MIA for a while, partially because I unintentionally tend to forget my blog but mostly because my (old) computer was ridiculously slow! Well that's all a thing of the past now ha...my boyfriend bought me a brand spanking new macbook so I figured I would share what i'm currently obsessing over...
My macbook, Ikea's cure (and affordable) mugs, flowers (from my man), and my concho hat.
See, I wasn't kidding when I said my concho hat! And of course one of my absolute Starbucks fave: Pumpkin Chai Latte (2 pumps of Chai, 1 pump Pumpkin)
So these pictures are actually from a little while back, but I still think this outfit is completely appropriate for a girls night out (not extravagant obviously)!

I haven't posted in a while, but I want to get back into the groove of things! For those of you who stay up to date with me, I truly appreciate it! Here is an awesome picture my girlfriend took of me while we were in Havasupai. If you don't know where Havasupai is, google it! Jk, it's in the Grand Canyon! It's freaken amazingly beautiful there! We hiked ten miles in with 30 lb packs on our backs, and after 3 amazing days, we obviously hiked those same ten miles out (and felt like dying). If you're looking to do something adventurous and grueling, but at the same time rewarding, I highly suggest visiting the Havasupai Indian Reservation.
P.s. If you don't already follow me on Instagram, I posted this picture there about two weeks ago!
